Steffens invades Wisconsin for Dairyland 100 at Madison International
Trekking north to the Badger State, Kyle Steffens followed the USAC Silver Crown National Championship to Madison International Speedway (Oregon, Wis.) on Friday for the Bytec Dairyland 100.
In his first laps at the Wisconsin half-mile oval, Steffens backed up a strong practice session with the ninth-fastest qualifying effort. Starting on the fifth row for the Bytec Dairyland 100 A-Main, Kyle was forced to retire early from the 100-lapper with oil issues.
Steffens is currently 10th in the latest USAC Silver Crown National Championship point standings.
